Ingredients for making dates and tamarind chutney:
1. Dates - 1 cup
2. Tamarind - half cup
3. Jaggery - half cup
4. Cumin powder - half tsp
5. Red chilli powder - half tsp
6. Salt - to taste

2. Then soak tamarind in hot water for 2 hours until it becomes soft and pulpy.
3. Next, transfer the soak dates and jaggery to a mixer jar and blend to a smooth puree.
4. Further, heat the pan and transfer the puree in it.
5. Then add the pulp of soaked tamarind and cook it for 10 minutes until it becomes thick and cooked properly.
6. In last add chilli powder, cumin powder and salt to taste. Mix it well.
7. So dates and tamarind chutney is ready. Store it in the fridge.
