Ingredients for making idli upma:
1. Peanut - 2 tsp
2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
3. Curry leaves - 1 tsp
4. Onion - 1 finely chopped
5. Tomato - 1 finely chopped
6. Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
7. Grated coconut - 2 tsp
8. Remaining idli cut and fried
9. Coriander leaves
10. Salt - to taste
11. Haldi - 1/2 tsp

Steps of making idli upma:
1. First of all, cut the remaining idli in medium-size and then fry it in deep oil till they are golden in colour and take it in a plate and keep aside.
2. Then in a Kadai heat one spoon oil and add 1 tsp mustard seeds, few curry leaves and 2tsp peanuts. Roast them till they cook.
3. Then add 1 finely chopped onion and 1 green chilli chopped and saute the onion for 1 minute.
4. Then add 1 finely chopped tomato and cook till they get soft.
5. Further, add 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/ 2 tsp Haldi and salt to taste and mix it well.
6. Add little water so the masalas get to cook properly for 1 to 2 minutes.
7. Then add the fried idli in it and give a good mix.
8. Further, add grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
9. So the remaining idli in idli upma is ready to serve it top with green chutney and enjoy at snacks time.
