Custard Shahi Tukda Recipe:

Ingredients for making custard shahi tukda:
1. Milk - half litre
2. Custard Powder - 4 tsp
3. Sugar - to taste
4. Bread slices - 8
5. Dry fruits - roasted and finely chopped


Custard Shahi Tukda Recipe:

Steps of making custard for Shahi tukda:
1. In a pan heat half a litre of milk and add sugar to your taste and let it boil.

2. Take milk in a cup and add 4 tsp of custard powder in it and mix it well so it doesn't have any lumps. The milk should be room temperature and not hot milk.

3. When the milk starts boiling add this custard mixture in it and mix well so the custard doesn't form any lumps and doesn't stick in the pan.

4. Cook till it becomes thick and keeps on mixing it. Then cool it in the fridge for at least two hours.


Steps of making Shahi tukda:
1. First cut the bread slices in a triangle shape and toast it in tawa or you can even deep fry this in oil.

2. When the bread slices are brown from both the sides take it out in a plate.

3. Add the prepared custard on top of each bread slice.

4. Garnish this shahi tukda with roasted and chopped dry fruits.
