Dahi puri chaat is a popular chaat from Mumbai. It is tangy, sweet, sour and spicy chaat with crispy outer puris. It is very simple and easy to make. The two chutneys which are commonly used in this are green chutney and sweet chutney. Green chutney made out of fresh coriander, mint, green chilli and garlic. Ingredients for making Dahi puri:
1. Onion - 1 finely chopped
2. Boiled potato - 1 peeled and chopped.
3. Curd - 2 cup
4. Chat masala - 1 tsp
5. Coriander leaves - 2tsp
Other important ingredients:
1. Green chutney - as per taste
2. Date and Tamarind chutney - as per taste
3. Puris - 32 puris for 4 persons/ 8 each

Dahi Puri Chaat Recipe At Home | Typical Home Style Food:
Preparation before making Dahi puri:
1. Firstly prepare the sweet chutney (Date and Tamarind chutney) and green chutney and keep aside. You can also make the chutneys a day before and refrigerate them.
2. Next, boil the potato and peel it and chop it in cubes keep it aside.
3. Further chop the onion and coriander leave finally.
4. Next whip the curd till smooth. The curd should not be sour so add sugar to make it sweet.
Steps of making Dahi puri:
1. In a plate, arrange the puris as the number you decided to serve. Break the puris from the centre to create space for stuff.
2. Stuff the chopped boiled potato and onion in the puris.
3. Top the stuffed puris with the green and sweet chutneys as per your liking and taste.
4. Now add the whisked curd till the puris are full.
5. Now sprinkle the chat masala.
6. Next, add sev on top so each puri will be covered with sev and finally garnish Dahi puri with coriander leaves.
7. Serve Dahi puri chat as soon you make it as the puris will become soggy if you serve even after a few minutes.
