Ingredients for fried noodles:
1. Noodles - 2 large cup
2. Salt - 2 tsp
3. Oil - 1 tsp
4. Water - 5 cups
5. Oil - for deep fry
6. Cornflour - 2 tsp

Ingredients for making American chop suey gravy:
1. Oil - 2 spoon
2. Onion - 1 finely sliced
3. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
4. Carrot - 1 finely sliced
5. Capsicum - 1 finely sliced
6. Cabbage - 1 cup sliced
7. Chilli powder - 1 tsp / optional to taste
8. Salt - to taste
9. Tomato ketchup - 1 cup
10. Cornflour - 1 tsp

Steps of making fried noodles:
1. In a large pan add 5 cups of water, salt and oil mix it well and let the water to be a boil.

2. When the water starts boiling add noodles and lets it cook for 5 minutes.

3. When the noodles cook drain its water and add in a bowl and add cool water in it so it's cooking time stops. And let it be cool and keep aside.
4. When the noodles get cool add 2 tsp of cornflour and mix it well. Heat the oil in Kadai on high flame.

5. When the oil is heated add the noodles and fry it from both sides and when they are fried and becomes crunchy take it out in a plate.

Steps of making veggies gravy:
1. Heat a pan on a medium flame, add 2 spoon oil, onion and ginger and garlic paste. Cook onion for 1 - 2 minutes till the onion becomes translucent.

2. Next add carrot, capsicum and cabbage. Mix it well and cook for 5 minutes on a medium flame.

3. When the vegetables are cook add salt and chilli powder according to your taste. Mix it.
4. Then add one cup of tomato ketchup and little water so the spices and veggies don't get burned.

5. In a cup add 1 tsp cornflour and little water mix it well and add this mixture in the gravy. So it becomes thick. And add one cup of water.

6. When the gravy is boiled and becomes thick. Then it is ready to be served.

Steps of making American chop suey:
1. In a plate crush the fried noodles as much you want to serve.

2. Then add the veggies and gravy prepared. The noodles should get a dip in the gravy. Garnish with chopped onion and tomato ketchup.

3. Serve it hot or else it will become soggy.
