Potato Manchurian | Aloo Manchurian Recipe:
Potato Manchurian is an Indo Chinese recipe. Potato Manchurian is a very popular dish. Potato Manchurian is fried and saute in sauces. I have shared a unique way of making potato Manchurian at home. In this instead of using sauces, I have used sambar and chicken masala. Since I am a south Indian I couldn't stop my self from doing so. Trust me this recipe will make you love with it. Potato Manchurian | Aloo Manchurian Recipe:

Ingredients for Manchurian :
1. Potato - 2 boiled and cut in cubes
2. Maida - 1 cup
3. Ginger and garlic paste - half tsp
4. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
5. Salt - to taste
6. Corn flour - 1 tsp
7. Red food colour - 1 pinch
8. Oil - to deep fry
9. Water - as required to make the batter

Ingredients for sauce:
1. Water - 1 cup
2. Chicken masala - 1 tsp
3. Sambar masala - 1tsp
4. Tomato ketchup - 2 tsp
5. Corn flour - 1 tsp
6. Onion - 1 finely chopped
7. Capsicum - half finely chopped
8. Oil - 2 spoon
9. Coriander leaves - 2 tsp


Potato Manchurian | Aloo Manchurian Recipe:

Steps of making Manchurian :
1. Firstly pressure cooks the potato for 2 whistles it shouldn't be too mashy. And then cut it in cubes.

2. Next for making the batter, in a bowl add 1 cup maida, chilli powder, ginger and garlic paste, salt, cornflour and red food colour.

3. Then further add the water as required to make it a batter. The consistency of the batter should be as shown in the photo.

4. In a large Kadai, heat oil to fry Manchurian. Add the potato in the batter and fry it in oil.

5. When the Manchurian is golden brown and crispy from both the sides take it in a plate and keep it aside.



Steps of making a sauce for Manchurian:
1. First, make a mixture of spices. In a bowl add 1 cup of water, chicken masala, sambar masala, tomato ketchup and cornflour mix it well and keep it aside.

2. Heat the pan over medium flame, pour 2 tsp of oil in the pan and next add onion and capsicum. Cook for 2 to 3 Minutes till they are sauteed.

3. Next, add the prepared mixture in it and cook till it becomes thick.

4. When the sauce becomes thick, add fried Manchurian and mix it well and add coriander leaves in it.

5. The potato Manchurian is ready to eat. Garnish it with onion and coriander leaves and tomato ketchup. serve while it's hot.
